__Welcome

__The purpose of this class is to provide the actor
__ with a clearly delineated process, which will
_._support him or her in the crafting of any song
__ at all. By "craft" I mean to shape carefully, with intelligence
__ and consideration, the material at hand, in a skillful, expert
__ way, which results in an audition that is professional, thoughtful,
__ emotionally true, and delightfully impressive.

__Classes are held on Tuesday afternoons and Thursday afternoons,
__ with each group meeting once a week.

__Our Musical Director is Ken Lundie, conductor-coach-accompanist.
__Ken recently conducted "Lone Star Love," and is an ongoing
__consultant at Radio City Music Hall.

__We begin using music you are already familiar with. This process
__ is explained by using your music to structure and block a
__ new performance of your old material. Class size is limited
__ to 10 members, so that everyone works every week.
